Societies & Clubs

Musaeus College has about 40 active clubs and societies. These ranges from those related to academic study (e.g. Science Society), to those associated with hobbies (e.g. Photography Club), to those linked with organizations outside College (e.g. St. John’s Ambulance Brigade) and to those catering to the Arts (e.g. Art Circle).

Students are encouraged to take an active part in proceedings of one or more of the following societies and clubs. Most enjoy enthusiastic membership, filling the college calendar with their activities, all year round.

Games & Sports

In addition to the compulsory physical education programme many opportunities are provided for the students to participate in organized games and sports. All parents are urged to insist on their children in taking part in organized games and availing themselves of the opportunities provided in physical training and development.

Musaites have always been in the fore-front of the Sri Lanka sporting arena. Over the years our young sports women have brought glory to their beloved alma mater by winning many Championships. Furthermore, they have gone on to reach top levels in both National and International events, bringing renown to the country as well.
